Default How to enable mutliple servlet

I have an application which was originally run under apache 2 , with a front -end design in php/ javascript with a server module in perl. I want to change the implementation to retain a php front-end (quercus) and server to be implemented in java servlet.

Kindly advice how is this possible or a better approach to the problem.

Thanks
Mzobe

PS am new to quercus

I'm not sure I understand your architecture. Are you wanting to implement your perl module as a servlet?

With Quercus, both the PHP code and the Java code are running in the same JVM, so you normally communicate through the Java objects accessed through PHP. So you don't normally need to create a Java servlet at all.

To get access to the Java objects, you can either use java("com.mycom.MyClass&quot or use java_bean("my_bean&quot if you're using Resin's Java Injection.
