Post How to add support for a(currently unsupported) PHP module to Quercus

In case a popular PHP module is currently not supported under Quercus-- how do I add support for that PHP module so that it can be accessed by PHP code running under Quercus+Tomcat? How do I go about coding the quercus equivalent of such a PHP module? Has anyone tried this before? What is the recommended/best way of going about this? Will the Quercus equivalent of the PHP module have to be coded in Java?

How do I go about coding such a module? can you share code for such PHP modules and their Quercus-equivalents?

Take a look at It shows you how to create a module in Java. Currently, you cannot code your module in PHP, but you can code classes in PHP and expose them to your scripts (undocumented).
