Default Debugging Quercus + Resin through Eclipse

Hi,

Can anyone please share debug setup using Quercus + Resin for Eclipse?

I have been using painful way of 'exits' in php code to find root cause of problems.

Will it help to have java compilation php enabled (Resin professional version) in resin-web.xml? Presently it is false.

Any help or pointer is highly appreciated.

regards,
hsr

Hi,

We currently don't have a Quercus plugin for Eclipse, but you may be able to create breakpoints in compiled java code (Quercus Pro only). An Eclipse plugin is in the roadmap for Quercus Pro.

At Caucho, we do most of our debugging using System.out() and Thread.dumpStack() statements. That's for both Resin and Quercus. In PHP land, we use var_dump() extensively.
