Hi,

My database username, password etc are sensitive. So i need to place those details in a seperate file i.e the entire <database> tag. Is there any way to include that file in the *resin-web.xml*.

TIA

The <resin:import path="file.xml"/> tag will import the contents of a second file. The resin namespace in Resin 4.0 is xmlns:resin="urn:java:com.caucho.resin". In Resin 3.1.x it's xmlns:resin="http://caucho.com/ns/resin/core".

If you look at app-default.xml or the resin.xml, you'll see that Resin itself uses resin:import to implement the WEB-INF/resin-web.xml itself.
