Hi,

I discovered Quercus today and it's really interesting. I tried to integrate it in the app I'm developing, it's a GWT app, so I'm running it using the integrated Jetty. I downloaded quercus-4.0.3.war and copied the JARs into the application, then I configured the servlet in web.xml and copied index.php to test. It worked immediately: amazing.

But then I tried to access $request->getAttribute("bean") and I got an error complaining for a null value. If I do echo($request) I get nothing.

I repeated the test by dropping the .war file in Tomcat 6 and I have the same issue.

Am I missing anything?

Hi,

We removed $request because of possible namespace conflicts. You can access the request object by calling the function quercus_servlet_request().

Please update the documentation:
http://quercus.caucho.com/quercus-3.1/doc/quercus.xtp#HttpServletRequest%20and%20HttpSession
still refers to $request.
