Hi All,
I have a liferay site with a PHP portlet which fetches an array of data, either from the APC or by instantiating a class and calling a method (and then storing that with apc_store()).
I'd like to create a 2nd portlet which will be an admin panel, with the ability to clear the cached data.

When the 1st portlet runs, it fetches the data and on subsequent requests it then uses the data stored in the apc.

For some reason, when I write the admin panel and try to output the same apc key, there is nothing there.

Does quercus (or tomcat/liferay) create a separate cache for every php portlet? That would explain the problem, but I'm wondering if there is any way around it?

Many thanks!
