I'm trying to configure my build (Resin 4.0.14 using ./configure as per the instructions but I am getting the error message (in terminal)
./configure: line 2042: config.log: Permission denied

I'm trying to get my Resin (ubuntu) installed and setup properly but I'm getting an error message when I './configure'. At the very end of the configuration I'm getting the error
checking if /opt/java/32/bin/java is Java 1.6... no
configure: error: Java 1.6 required. /opt/java/32/bin/java returned: ./configure: line 11245: /opt/java/32/bin/java: No such file or directory
Any ideas as to what this means?

Do you have JDK 6 installed and JAVA-HOME set correctly? Also, make sure to have sufficient privileges for the installation. Typically, you would need to be a super-user.

You should install SUN JDK(1.6 or higher version) instead of using your System pre-installed jdks.
