I'm trying to configure resin 4.0.1 to use open SSL.

I tried:

./configure --enable-64 --with-openssl=/usr/lib/openssl

Question:

Where is it trying to loooking for the openssl library? Is it trying to look for source or binary files?

I tried all these paths found on my system and it doesn't work.

./etc/pki/tls/openssl.cnf
./usr/lib64/openssl
./usr/lib64/ecryptfs/libecryptfs_key_mod_openssl.so
./usr/lib64/libgnutls-openssl.so.13
./usr/lib64/libgnutls-openssl.so.13.0.6
./usr/share/man/man1/openssl.1ssl.gz
./usr/share/doc/openssl-0.9.8e
./usr/share/doc/openssl-0.9.8e/openssl.txt
./usr/share/doc/openssl-0.9.8e/openssl_button.html
./usr/share/doc/openssl-0.9.8e/openssl_button.gif
./usr/bin/openssl
./usr/lib/openssl
./usr/lib/ecryptfs/libecryptfs_key_mod_openssl.so

forgive me for being a Windows user. but wouldn't the "./" refer to a relative UNC path within $Resin? So you should, in theory, be referencing "/usr" instead of "./usr".

just a thought. :)
