Hi,

When I need to use a new PHP extension, I simply add in my php.ini file the following code, after installing the ext with pecl:

extension=mongo.so

So i thought in Quercus would be the same, and I wrote:

quercusObj.setIni("extension", "mongo.so");

but it doesn't work, probably because it can't find the extension.

Any tips?
Thanks

Hi,

mongo.so is a native library that cannot be easily used with Java. Quercus is written in pure Java, so to get Mongo, we'd either have to write a Java replacement for it or at least a Java client. You could theoretically use the Java library for Mongo, but it wouldn't use the PHP Mongo API.

Best,
