View Full Version : header fails for header("Content-type: application/x-amf");

I am trying to send amfphp data back to the client using amfphp library.

The function
header fails for header("Content-type: application/x-amf");

Just fails, I don't know why.

How can I find an error message?

I tried normal PHP error reporting but it didn't work.

Thanks, Philip

How does the call fail? Does it just not print out the header? If so, then it's likely you have already output some data and it's too late to print a header. This can be a tricky issue. Even if you have something like:

<?php $x = 0; ?>
<?php header("Content-type: application/x-amf" ); ?>

The header call can fail because of the newline between the two <?php blocks.

If that's not the case, you can try turning on logging on Quercus in either your resin.xml or resin-web.xml:

<logger name="com.caucho.quercus" level="fine"/>
