Hi folks,

I am trying to get CMS Made Simple (http://www.cmsmadesimple.org/) to run in quercus. I think quercus is just awesome and I want to explore it more.

I am a java programmer by profession and only know very little of php(A simple hello world and that's about it :D). I want to port cms made simple to quercus as a way for me to learn php. Crazy huh?

I already tried installing drupal in quercus in tomcat and I was successfully in that endeavor. That was fun.. Now I'm embarking on this new personal project of mine and I want to use cmsmadesimple in quercus in jetty 6/7.

I am encountering some road blocks and I'm hoping you can help/guide me.

1. Cmsmadesimple uses "ADOdb ADONewConnection" to access databases. I have no idea why they are using that. It seems quercus doesn't recognize ADOdb. Is this something that quercus will eventually support or rewrite of database access codes is the only way to go in getting this cms to work in quercus.

Any help is much appreciated.

Hi wolf,

I filed this as a bug here:

http://bugs.caucho.com/view.php?id=3707

We're working on a number of other issues at the moment, so it may be a few weeks until we can add new functionality like this, but we've got it in the tracker now, so we can get back to it as soon as possible.

Take care,
Emil
