Hi,
I'm using Resin 4.0 with Apache 2.2 on a MacOSX 10.6.3 and my Java version is 1.6.
When I edit my Java or jsp code, Eclipse immediately compile the code but I must restart the Resin server to see the changes.

Is there some options in configuration files or while launching Resin or Watchdog I can use to avoid this restart?

Thank you for any answer!

Giulio

Hi Giulio,

If you're using the Eclipse plugin, you can edit the resin.xml in the Servers folder to include

<dependency-check-interval>2</dependency-check-interval>

This will have Resin check every 2 seconds for changes in your webapp. It sounds like you're using the in-place development method? If not, then you can simply redeploy for each change.

Best,
Emil
